Register to take part in Wear Red Day 20 October 2023 to raise awareness and funds for anti-racism education

An initiative started by former Newcastle United FC player, Shaka Hislop, Show Racism the Red Card is an important anti-racism educational charity and campaign using the high profile status of football and players and empowering role models within communities, organisations and sports to help tackle racism in society. Wear Red Day has become a national fixture in our calendar and take places on 20th October 2023.

Come on Newcastle, join us and show your support!

The majority of the campaign’s work involves the delivery of educational workshops to young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events held in football stadiums.

Across the UK, Show Racism the Red Card provides educational sessions to over 50,000 individuals per year. Wear Red Day raises funds to support this work and last year engaged 440,000 people in the campaign.
