Newcastle 150 free leadership programme (6th-7th March) is open for applications for 18-25 year olds in Newcastle

Applications are now open for theNewcastle150 Legacy Programme for 18–25-year-olds . This FREE programme takes place on 6th and 7th March in person, in Newcastle.

Newcastle 150 is run by Common Purpose and sponsored by Newcastle Building Society, Newcastle College (NCG), Newcastle City Council, Newcastle University, Northumbria University, Northumbrian Water. It running for the fifth time in March.

This programme is designed to empower young people aged 18-25 living, working or studying in Newcastle. Participation will give them the skills, confidence, voice and agency, to be strong leaders of the future. It gives them the opportunity to connect, learn and work with leaders in the city as well as their peers on the programme.

Together they will build social capital to continue to make a positive impact across Newcastle for years to come. This programme is filled with opportunities for young people to join a vibrant community of go-getters and change-makers, discover their purpose, craft their identity, and level up their leadership skills.

Why get involved?

Feedback from participants from Legacy programmes so far has been very positive. The impact of this programme can be seen through the learning in cultural intelligence, the valuable connections made and the tangible actions and outcomes in the city as a result of the participants ideas formed on the programme! 

Participants will also have the opportunity to enter the 25Under25 awards, which is set up for Global Legacy alumni, and 25 awards are given each year globally to those young Legacy alumni who can best demonstrate their social impact in their work.
