Investing in People and Culture
We promote the economic and social inclusion of refugees, asylum seekers and other minority communities in the North East. We advocate for vulnerable immigrants and provide links to vital services as well as opportunities for education, training and rewarding recreational activities.
Cross-cultural understanding fosters greater harmony within our community. We aim to share and celebrate our differences by working together.
We're a registered charity (no. 1160482) promoting the social and economic inclusion of asylum seekers, refugees and minority communities. We are based in North East of England, with centres in the heart of Middlesborough and Newcastle, with regular outreach into Stockton and Gateshead.
We have established solid connections that underpin all our activities, and provide the basis for our successful projects. In Teesside we link extensively with local organisations who can offer practical support, particularly in terms of employment opportunities and training, whilst in Tyneside we provide support to the Refugee Community Organisations who are often the first port of call for new migrants, widening our reach and strengthening our connection with beneficiary communities.
Integration into life in Britain comes with many challenges, but we're here to help you with:
- Employment, education and training
- English Language Support
- Cultural Integration
- Raising Awareness
