TIN Arts is an innovative social enterprise that creates, inspires, delivers and manages participatory dance, arts and culture programmes for people of all ages and abilities across the North East of England.
TIN Arts was founded in 1999 by professional contemporary dancers Tess Chaytor and Martin Wilson, We are a not-for-profit company (limited by guarantee) and governed by a board of trustees. We are funded by a range of organisations and are currently part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of Organisations.

TIN Arts are based at Framwellgate Moor Community Centre on Front Street in Framwellgate Moor on the outskirts of Durham City. We have our own studio known as The TIN Dance Space which is spacious, light and has a wooden floor. To find more about the TIN Dance Space please click here.
