As part of a series of local history presentations, David Faulkner will be presenting a talk on zoom about the visits of Martin Luther King (1967), Jimmy Carter (1977 and 1987) and Muhammad Ali (1977) to Newcastle. He will talk about how these visits came about, share images from the visits and discuss how they have been remembered and celebrated in the years since.
