Our partners at British Council are calling for applications from young people aged 25-35 to apply to Future Leaders Connect, a global network of policy leaders, changemakers and experts.
Young people from the UK can apply by 5th July to participate in a six-week digital policy and leadership programme and to join the network.
What is Future Leaders Connect?
Future Leaders Connect is the British Council’s global network of exceptional emerging young policy leaders.
In previous years the programme has been face-to-face, but this year we are going digital: which means that the programme is more accessible for everyone across the UK.
Who can apply?
The opportunity is open to young people aged between 25 and 35 living in the UK.
Applications are now live (closing on 5 July) to apply for a six-week digital policy and leadership programme and ultimately become a Future Leaders Connect Member.
British Council is keen to encourage applications from young people working in the arts and culture sector as well as those working in more traditional policy or campaigning roles – applicants will need to know how policy works in their country, but the most important thing is that they are exceptional young leaders with the desire to connect with likeminded individuals to create real change.
What’s in it for applicants?
Our members are part of an incredible global network of policy leaders, changemakers and experts, which has 150 members worldwide.
Participants for 2021 will be selected from Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland and the UK. In joining the UK cohort participants will gain invaluable international networks across a range of sectors worldwide, as well as access to the relevant skills and opportunities to support them in making a meaningful difference through policy change.
