Newcastle University is welcoming the city in to their free, one-day festival of interactive family activities and events to encourage exploration and inspire children and young people and those of all ages. There are around 70 free events taking place on the city campus on 7th June.
There are lots of short sessions to choose from with many less than 15 minutes and most available as drop-ins between 10am and 4pm. A few sessions require booking in advance. The sessions cover science and nature, the human body, languages and more. There will be street scientists and musical performances, sports activities, arts and crafts activities, stories and there is even a campus treasure hunt.
