International Newcastle’s CEO, Declan Baharini, will be speaking at one of the sessions (11th June) about ‘Empowering children and young people through languages, international links and intercultural awareness‘ alongside Education Consultant and languages expert, Crista Hazell.

#EYP2CtW24 is in its 10 anniversary year and seeks to inform, engage and inspire teachers by providing opportunities to hear from experts, researchers, classroom practitioners, or those with personal stories – CPD you might not normally get within school provision – so we as teachers can empower our young people to change the world (their mindsets, their aspirations, their world view: their local community, or thinking even bigger – make a lasting difference locally, nationally or internationally).

We have some incredible stories and expertise to share – do sign up and join us if you can.

There is something for everyone in this years conference programme – and there are a few surprise programme announcements still to be revealed! Whether STEM, curriculum, disciplinary lens, EAL, the arts and creativity, safeguarding and civics, human libraries, genocide prevention, teaching and learning, literacy, tackling disadvantage, community cohesion, leadership, DEI, SEND, SMSC, mental health and wellbeing, pastoral care, PSHE, Holocaust/genocide and human rights education, values and culture, social and moral issues, belonging/community, respect, empathy and inclusion, progression and more – from ITE-MAT CEO, whether primary, secondary or tertiary, we have something to challenge, add value, uplift and transform… so do check out the full programme – and send the link to any colleagues across your school or Trust who may benefit from the diverse and vibrant, FREE CPD on offer.

#EYP2CtW24 seeks to inform and inspire and it would be wonderful if you, your colleagues, our partner schools and wider networks, nationally and internationally could benefit and engage.
