For North East teachers at any level: Teachers in the North East of England are invited to this special CPD workshop with Dr Jennifer Eddy, a leading global expert on World Language Education and task-based, real-world approaches to improving language competence.
During a 3-hour practical session, teachers will learn how to design cross-curricular, trans-disciplinary tasks for learners at all stages, which will enhance their engagement, enthusiasm and their competence in the languages they are learning.
CPD: Spanish Teachers’ Day at Newcastle University IN PERSON on 14th March 2026
For teachers and future teachers of Spanish in the North East at all levels. The Spanish Embassy Education Office (Consejería de Educación), Newcastle University and Junta de Castilla y León invite teachers and future teachers of Spanish (primary, secondary, university and further education) to attend the Spanish Day for Teachers in Newcastle on 14th March.
There will be presentations and workshops with practical and imaginative ideas for the Spanish class. A Spanish lunch will be served with a tasting of products from Castilla y León.
