Exciting News Alert! The Express Yourself: North East Festival of Languages is BACK and better than ever for its fourth year!
Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of languages, culture, and creativity! This year’s festival is jam-packed with FREE events, activities and resources designed to ignite the curiosity of children and young minds in schools and communities, as well as offering resources for educators and activities for adults and families.
International Newcastle is to be proud to hosting and co-ordinating this Festival again with the support of a wide range of local, regional and national partners.
For schools, open for participation from today and running into March are three creative projects, where children and young people can express themselves in different languages through music (Festival Song – Happy), art (Peace Cranes origami project) and writing (Mother Tongue Other Tongue).
Most of the live events and activities in March are also open for registration today. These include world languages and cultures events for primary and secondary schools, languages and careers events for secondary schools, fun activities for young learners, schools, groups, adults, families and communities and a host of free resources – there’s something for everyone!
Join us from January to March to experience activities to spark the imagination and broaden your global perspective. Everything in the festival is ABSOLUTELY FREE.
