The French Pop Video Competition 2020 is a great opportunity for children and young people to express their creativity whilst improving their French language skills. Entrants produce a 3 minute song video in French and win books, tablets and a trip to a French concert in London.

This competition is open to all primary and secondary schools and Newcastle schools are encouraged to enter (the deadline to upload videos has been extended to 22nd May 2020).
There are three age ranges: 7-11, 12-15, and 16-18.
Our French Embassy partners, Institut Français du Royaume-Uni, are supporting Newcastle City of Languages.
Before the lockdown, they also offered free Learning French through Music workshops for state sector schools in Newcastle and the North East, delivered by the Alliance Française de Newcastle.
