We are delighted to be taking part in the 2024 Conference of International Volunteer Cooperation Organisations (IVCO), being hosted by Northumbria University and partners next week.
The Annual Conference of International Volunteer Cooperation Organisations (IVCO) brings together leaders from volunteering agencies around the globe. It is a prestigious international conference which has been hosted in major cities across the world for the past 20 years, attracting organisations such as the UN, government bodies, donors as well as community organisations from all continents.
This year’s conference theme is “Building & Sustaining Connections for Change: Volunteering for Solidarity” and will provide a dynamic and convivial space for participants to share and learn from each other’s volunteering strategies, management and practical tools in the voluntary sector.
This is the first time the conference will be take place in the UK and also the first time it will be hosted by an academic institution. The conference runs from 9th to 13th September.
