As part of Newcastle City of Languages, we are promoting support for transitions in schools around the learning of Modern Foreign Languages to support teachers and learners and encourage language learning and steady progression:
- between primary and secondary schools
- from GCSE to A Level languages.
This webinar on 9th November explores GCSE to A Level transitions and is hosted by Linguascope, an interactive language learning platform for schools. We encourage secondary language teachers to sign up and join in this webinar via the Linguascope staffroom, their webinar app, or directly via this link.
With Newcastle City of Languages and local schools, we are hoping to develop a transition pilot for primary to secondary French language learning/teaching and will report on this as it progresses.
