Volunteering opportunity for refugees and asylum seekers in museums – Multaka Project (introduction event 10 June)

The Multaka Project aims to work with refugees and asylum seekers to explore Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums’ collections and spaces. Supported by staff volunteers will explore the various exhibitions and go on to develop a tour or learn to lead a discussion about particular museum objects in your first language.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in please come along to the information event: Friday 10 June 2022, 1-3pm at Discovery Museum, Blandford Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4JA. Travel costs will be reimbursed on the presentation of a ticket.
