The UK has a world-leading education sector and welcomes talented and high potential students to universities, further education and English language colleges every year. Here in Newcastle, we have a vibrant international student community from across the world.
The Government’s new visa application process is called the Graduate Route and it opened on 1st July. For international students who have studied in the UK and been awarded their degree here, it provides an opportunity to stay in the UK and work, or look for work, at any skill level for two years, or three years for doctoral students.
The Graduate route is an unsponsored route, meaning you do not need a job offer to apply for the route. You will be able to work flexibly, switch jobs and develop your career in the UK as required.
