The North East Anti-Racism Coalition is a collective of individuals and organisations committed to helping make the North East an anti-racist, anti-Muslim hatred and overall anti-hate region. Its members are all united in not wanting to witness further riots or other manifestations of hate across our region.
A small group came together following the violent riots of summer 2024. With a real drive to see change, they organised a meeting to talk to others about what change was needed, and how everyone could work together, as a region, to achieve it.
There are now over 200 people on the Coalition’s mailing list and a number of events have been held across the North East, including in Newcastle, Darlington and Middlesbrough.
2025 events are scheduled for:
- Thursday 14 August, 9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. (Online) Click here to register for a free place
- Wednesday 15 October, 10.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. (Newcastle)
