Evgenia Stepanova and her colleagues at Newcastle University would like to recruit a group of researchers, community leaders and policy makers who from any background, culture, or community who have recent experience of supporting people from marginalised groups and communities (in the last 12 months). Participants must be over 18.
Newcastle University researchers want to develop and test a model of hospital discharge that brings together health and social care. Researchers want to create recommendations of strategies and approaches to research that are acceptable to ethnic minoritised, linguistically diverse and oppressed populations with multicomplex needs. Together with research participants, they will identify research principles that are sensitive to the needs of ethnic minoritised, linguistically diverse and oppressed populations with multicomplex needs.
- You will be asked to complete two online questionnaires in November-December 2024. Each round of the survey will take you less than 20 mins.
- If interested, after completing of the survey you could also take part in a workshop online with a research team to determine the recommendation of strategies and approaches to research that are acceptable to ethnic minoritised, linguistically diverse and oppressed populations with multicomplex needs. The workshop will take place in January 2025.
- Taking part in this study will also take some time for participants, you will be offered a £20 voucher to thank you for your time and contribution for completing two-round survey and a £30 voucher to thank you for your time for taking part in a consensus workshop.
- Discussions will be in English, but translators will be available if required.
- The research will be online and vouchers for participation will be offered.
