If you are interested in supporting international experiences, connections and opportunities for children and young people in the UK, then you may be interested in joining the Internationalism Alliance, supported by our colleagues at British Council.
We have been a member since its inception and have found it invaluable as a network of local, regional and national partners with an interest or a remit around internationalism and young people. It is also a means to feed into national discussions about the value of internationalism and international and intercultural experiences for young people and how we can promote these as a key element of the future of young people in this country.
We have also gained from the Internationalism Alliance connections and support for Our Newcastle Our World (international cultural relations framework) and our priority around children and young people 0-30 as confident, global citizens.
