Our partners, UK German Connection, are offering Virtual Summer Courses (Deutschland Online Erleben) this year, offering pupils aged 15-17 an opportunity to practice and improve their German skills and immerse themselves in the language with like-minded peers from many different European countries. It’s a unique opportunity to exchange on topics relevant to their lives, gain new perspectives and make friends, all under the guidance of specialist German teachers.
Apply by 1st March 2022 for this free programme, which consists of a week-long practical language course and a wider programme delivered by UK-German Connection, which will include a network of UK participants, complementary language support from a UK teacher, and an opportunity to engage with German peers.
Travel restrictions allowing, an optional visit to Germany is also being planned for the autumn of 2022, offering all successful applicants of the Virtual Summer Courses an opportunity to meet German peers and also meet each other in person whilst getting a taste of German culture and everyday language.
