The Festival has already enabled over 500 schools to access the Foundation Certificate of the ISA, with automatic qualification for the ISA Foundation Certificate in 2024 and 2025. This webinar is designed to inspire schools who already have the ISA to progress to Intermediate and Accreditation levels and to highlight ways to achieve this.
The Festival’s programme is bigger than ever for 2026 and will be open for advance registration on 18th November, with a wide range of events, creative projects, competitions and classroom activities and resources which can help schools progress through the levels, including activities that can be done across the whole school and with international partner schools.
British Council’s International School Award (ISA) provides a framework for schools to develop international activities across the curriculum, including collaborative work with international partner schools and opportunities to involve the wider community. The Award celebrates and recognises the international work that schools do and encourages schools to open their classrooms and bring the world in, teaching pupils about other countries and cultures.
