Following the Turing Scheme webinar for Newcastle schools on 5th February with Declan Baharini and Sarah Edgar, any schools intending to apply can access help and support to help prepare Turing applications for international school visits taking place between 1st September 2026 and 31st August 2027.
A comprehensive pack of briefing information and the recording of the webinar was sent out on 5th February after the webinar to Newcastle schools. Any schools who did not receive this and want to apply should contact sarah.edgar@newcastle.gov.uk.
The Turing Scheme timeline is below. Newcastle schools are recommended to have one-to-one meetings to discuss their applications and any support needs with Declan and Sarah before the end of February, with draft applications ready to check by 6th March. To arrange meetings about applications and if any schools require international partners, they should contact Sarah as soon as possible.
