UK schools welcome to join in the Festival

UK schools are welcome to join in with selected free online events and access a range of free resources as part of the Express Yourself: North East Festival of Languages.  Click here for the UK programme and see below for the list of live events in March open for bookings with registration links. There are also links to other resources available to UK schools, as well as UK-wide competitions.

120 UK schools are already signed up with 27,000 children and young people outside the North East participating in our online events and 66,000 in total so far, with bookings still open!

Schools who register will automatically receive an International School Award Foundation Certificate for participating in the Festival, if they do not already have this certificate. This is through an arrangement with British Council. If you already have that certificate, you can use this activity towards the Intermediate or Accreditation levels.  There is more information about this online here.
